BIOGRAPHY

Tyler Schmill began his career in upstream oil and gas in 2009, working across completions, well remediation, plug and abandon operations, production wells, and high-pressure gas wells in multiple basins. In 2022, he transitioned into oil and gas bitcoin mining with Great American Mining, drawn by their practical solution to natural gas flaring.

By harnessing stranded gas for on-site power generation, Tyler helped deploy scalable mobile data centers for bitcoin mining. He now manages on-grid development for Chronos Energy and consults on oil and gas operations through the Bitcoin Mining Institute.
