Marco op de Weegh is a senior expert at EBN, where he advances the Dutch energy transition through CCUS project development, including Aramis, Athos, and Porthos. He’s contributed to offshore CO₂ transport systems and held leadership roles in well engineering across geothermal, conventional, and carbon storage sectors.

Marco brings over 30 years of experience, including two decades with Shell in roles spanning well design, auditing, and carbon capture projects in the US, Canada, and the Netherlands. His career reflects deep technical leadership in sustainable energy solutions.
